TELit designs, produces and publishes evangelistic leaflets covering a broad area of themes, which you can find on the links above. They are suitable for all ages, interests and occasions.
Each leaflet starts from where people are and introduces the gospel from a perspective they are already interested in. Use that interest point to pick a title for the people you know.

Alert to Possibilities
As true Christians we ought to be ever alert to the possibility of sharing something of our faith if circumstances permit and if we've never prepared for such an eventuality, we may be surprised at how often an opportunity will arise, usually in a very natural way. When presented with such an opportunity, perhaps only the briefest of personal testimony may be possible, in which case a TELit folder can be very useful to give.
Visitors to our Home
During an average week, we'd probably be surprised at how many come to our door to offer a service, try to sell something, or because we've requested their help. Many will readily seize such opportunities by having a selection of TELit titles in their home. These have proved ideal for the plumber who's keen on motorcycling 'Where the Rubber hits the Road', the pizza delivery man 'Taste and See', or the lady with the home shopping catalogue 'The Shopping Trip'.
Holidays and Hotels
UK holiday resorts can offer special opportunities over the summer months and many visitors are open to the gospel when away from their home environment. Surely nothing can thrill our hearts more than a visitor returning home with not only souvenirs and memories but also a personal relationship with the living God. Do I live in a popular visitor area? Could I organise a distribution of folders to tourists? Could I ask hotels in my town to display folders in rooms or reception areas?
General Travel
Perhaps as never before we are a people on the move. Whether by car or coach, bus or train, we seem to spend an increasing proportion of our waking hours travelling. Much of this of course we do in short bursts, quite anonymously, simply getting from A to B. However, from time to time, we may be called upon to make a longer journey, perhaps with a friend or work colleague and in such situations the potential for personal evangelism increases. On such occasions, an attractive piece of evangelistic literature may be the ideal thing to leave with our travelling companion when we go our separate ways.
Expect the Unexpected (Air Travel)
We know of a lady who led a travelling companion to Christ on a long-haul flight to South Africa using a 'Welcome to Edinburgh' folder. This may be the exception rather than the rule, but an expectant, prayerful and well prepared Christian traveller will often be able to report many very interesting and exciting encounters. With this in mind, TELit produced a special folder for air travellers entitled 'A Friend in High Places'. Just the thing to take with you on your next flight! How often do I travel with work companions or to whom could I give a relevant folder? Could I take some 'A Friend in High Places' the next time I fly anywhere?
Church Welcome Packs
Let's not be content to simply publicise our services and activities. Why not ensure that every Welcome or Information Pack contains at least one piece of literature which sets out the basics of the gospel in an attractive and challenging way? Does our church or fellowship have a Welcome Pack? Could we include some relevant TELit folders?
Church member supplies
Would your church hold a supply of a variety of titles and encourage your members to give one to a friend; or another dog walker; or leave one in a library book or on public transport; or give one to a restaurant or shop attendant? Some churches also keep a supply of ‘Pathway to Peace’, leaving them on every other seat for people attending funerals.
Topical Issues
We often hear that we must make the gospel more relevant to today's society. But it is already relevant, intensely relevant. Our challenge is to demonstrate that it is for individuals now and not just for those of yesteryear. Using current issues and events as a 'platform' for the gospel helps us with this. TELit offers a number of such titles: 'Your Number's Up!' (National Lottery) 'Saving the World' (environmental issues) 'The Saving Plan' (finance) and 'The Purpose of your Life'
Local Community Events
Why not make use of the opportunities at special local community events such as flower shows. We have 'Saying it with Flowers', 'Finding your way through the Agricultural Show' and even a children's version 'Josh & Jade at the Agricultural Show'. Do you have a stand organised for your local show? Could you distribute some folders there?
Sporting Occasions
Sport can bring people together from many different backgrounds. Why not combine people's strong interest in their chosen sport with the gospel message? TELit have a wide range covering everything from football 'The Winning Goal' and rugby 'The Crucial Conversion' to extreme sports 'Ready to Risk it?'. These can be given to work colleagues individually, handed out at the sports ground, or in town on the day of an event. Why not ask local pubs or cafes for permission to put some on display around the time of a big sporting occasion in your town?
